 Repels people away from you
  Automatically Repels anyone within 40m away from you with enough force to send them into the next region, or kill them over Damage land.

The direction people are sent is based on their location relative to you.  They are sent directly away from you, instead of the traditional UP style orbit.  Most of the time this means they will be pushed horizontally away from you over the horizon.
